Alice Thomas is the Founder and CEO of Thomas Enterprises, LLC. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi Patterson School of Accountancy and has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Southern Arkansas University. She is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. The Mission of Thomas Enterprises is to provide reliable bookkeeping services that allows individuals, small business owners, and entrepreneurs to have peace of mind that their financial information is accurate, up-to-date, and is customized to their needs. Our personalized service, accuracy, and integrity provide results and an environment our clients trust. Alice was the Assistant Controller and then Controller for Wynne Jackson Advisors, Inc. in Dallas, Texas after getting her start in public accounting with Kenneth Leventhal and Company, also in Dallas. At Wynne Jackson, Alice selected, trained and supervised accounting personnel; coordinated all accounting and payroll activities within the company and for all consulting, management and accounting contracts provided to clients; evaluated and improved accounting controls; reviewed budgets and monthly financial statements; established accounting systems for new contracts; designed and prepared customized financial statements; prepared business plans for clients; and coordinated accounting information provided to other departments within the company and to outside auditors.
After leaving Wynne Jackson, Alice began working with individuals and small businesses that wanted to focus more on their specialty than on the financial side of their business. She has been successfully providing business owners and entrepreneurs with quality accounting services for over 20 years.
